英語コース

英語コースは、文法、ライティング、リーディング・語彙、リスニング・スピーキングの4つの科目に分けられており、それぞれ3レベルに分かれています。ライティングとリーディングに関しては、さらにDevelopment Englishのレベルが用意され、修了するとENG 100のクラスが受講できるようになります。それぞれ別のレベルでの受講が可能なため、すべてのレベルが修了しなくても、カレッジ・レベルのクラスの受講ができるようになります。

「 No TOEFL 」ポリシー

入学に際して、TOEFLのスコアの提出は義務付けられていません。入学者の全員が、オリエンテーションにて英語と数学のテストを受けるようになっています。その結果を受けて、適正なレベルのクラスに入ることとなります。英語が必要である場合はESLプログラムを受講することになります。テストの結果、英語力が上級レベルと判断されると、通常の学部コースに参加することができます。また、取得から５年以内の下記のスコアを持っている場合はESLプログラムのプレイスメントテストではなく、カレッジプログラムのプレイスメントテストを受けます。
